A cool spot to sit

But not today because there was nowhere cool was there. That heat was debilitating, it's after midnight now and I am still hot. It was 99 Fahrenheit in the conservatory, My thermometer is very old so no Celsius. but that is 37 c.  and well over 100f in the greenhouse.
We were up early, dogs walked in the woods where it was nice and cool. Came home put some washing on, washed the kitchen floor, set out the table in the blip with it's parasol (we got it years ago from Asda they were selling them off at the end of summer for £5) Unfortunately the garden bin got in the way, I will have to find a new spot for it. Then apart from eating and sitting around we did very little else because it was much too hot.
Lets hope it's a bit cooler tomorrow. I like it warm but not that warm.

We kept the dogs cool by hosing Tanzy down with water every so often she loved it and lightly spraying Molly who spent the day in the lounge where it was a lot cooler, she had a wet towel on her tonight when she decided to come upstairs because it was overly warm up here.

Oh and devastating news, to some people, The Chippy was closed because it was too hot to cook over those hot chip pans and so he decided not to open for the sake of his staff.
Also the bin men came round at some ungodly hour whilst it was still cool and so did postie.
