Another glorious day

My granddaughter and I have come to Aberdovey to visit my daughter and son in law. We have had a lovely day today. An early morning dip in the cold hot tub followed by a whistle stop tour to Tywyn to collect a couple of things. Then a friend from Zambia arrived for lunch. So wonderful to see him. He had served in the Army with my husband, then moved to Zambia where he ‘bumped into’ my daughter and son in law when they were living there. Such a small world. So nice to catch up after the past three years. His children had come to England to go to University. After he had left to drive back to Shrewsbury we headed off for a paddle board and swim. Heaven.
