Dog Day Afternoon

A day of stultifying heat and oppressive humidity.

Our last day at the caravan in Wales and back home tomorrow. No matter, we hope to be back soon. 

The collage shows Hollie dog getting back into it after a little scare at the weekend. She has been for a totally invigorating and cooling swim in the brook that once was the raging River Severn. 

And Marney, our friends' beautiful little spaniel. Do not be fooled by those eyes!!

And a biblical sunset that seems to exemplify the ferocious heat we have been experiencing.
