Melting

The hottest day ever recorded today in the UK 39.8 locally, a wee bit unbearable. Driving back home I witnessed 2 fires, I think 1 was a tractor or maybe just all the field surrounding it, I hope the later. Back home the smell of burning is filtering into the house. Just hope everyone is ok.
Now at 21.30 ish it’s nice to sit outside with a cold drink watching the sunset, a couple of tiny rain showers were very welcome. So a blip from the hosta in the garden today.
More normal weather returning tomorrow we hope.
