Patterns at the Newt

An earlier morning visit to the Newt - everyone was walking around with umbrellas to ward off the heat ! We had a lingering coffee here in the shade of some hazel trees! I then put my feet in one of the water channels there - bliss ! 
We collected my bike - brakes fine, it was the  ‘headset’ which had broken !??? So all under warranty - phew ! 
We had lunch in the garden at home which would have been impossible yesterday and the skies darkened, thunder rumbled and it rained! Hooray ! The air was better afterwards and this evening there has been a breeze . 
A chat on FaceTime with my friend in Athens and a cooler evening in the garden although we are having to water every night .
