Golden Skippy

Another 8am start to get some air before it all went too hot to handle....

Lots of butterflies especially skippers. Most on the move except this one. It was rather obliging, or was it this delicious burdock flower that was holding it's attention!

We couldn't prevent the cat from getting out today so was a little worried when she returned home panting this afternoon....

Phew! A few wipes with cold wet hands helped and she didn't object. We let her out again around 10pm. Hopefully a night on the (cooler) tiles will be better for her.
