This morning we headed to Frensham Little Pond - a National Trust area where medieval bishops used to go fishing. We didn’t see any today! It’s in an incredibly sandy heathland area  - so much so that the paths made you feel as if you were walking on the beach! We didn’t stay long as it was very hard going and very hot.
We then slowly pootled home, hoping to stop in the New Forest but there were so many cars everywhere we gave up. We stopped at a pub which had a shady garden for a coffee then carried on homewards until we got to Puddletown forest where we had a short shady stroll.
