The end of an era

Since 1930 the farm about half a mile away has delivered milk to us and the surrounding villages, but there was a big shock this morning - along with the milk was a note saying that they are stopping deliveries for good after Monday! I don't know why and hope it is a business decision and not due to bad news of some sort, but it will be a shame not to have the 'doorstep pinta' after all these years.
