Behind bars

Up early as we had a lovely sunny day, I am still catching up at work but from home today.. Took a lunchtime walk to see the gull chicks but they are all big now so no photos. Instead I took he view out of the Egg shed window, I always like the way the windows frame the view.

The sharp eyed amongst you may have noticed that I have a new camera, birthday present for me was an upgraded Fuji from my XT2 to this XT4. Good camera however my lightroom 6 will no longer read the RAW files as it's ole. I have been trying o change my whole system to use Capture1 free version which does work but I am missing the ease of LR. My next choice is to start paying a subscription to LR Classic or LRCC, not quite worked out the difference. Is it worth it or will it lock me in for ever? or maybe I am locked in already if I want to access my previous 40,000 tagged photos. All advice appreciated. HELP
