Let’s do London pt 111

Plans to spend a few days in London were made ages ago. Long before my brush with COVID and well before we knew today was forecast to be the hottest day of the year since records began. And long before they cancelled all the trains!!

The lovely sister came to the rescue and offered to drive me into London to Lords Cricket ground from where I could get a bus or taxi to where I’m staying. On arrival at the cricket ground the sister threw caution to the wind and decided to drop me off at the door! Upon encountering the traffic around Hyde Park Corner, she may have regretted her very kind and generous offer… I however, am beyond grateful.
