The big day

We finally got our first tomato! I was so late planting the garden this year. We always have a tomato by the first of July. It sure was good on our sammie at lunch.
Well this evening we start our trip to Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. It has been a long time coming. I sure hope all goes well and everyone has a wonderful time. Will keep you posted if I can. 
On a sad note the young girl who was swept out to sea was found yesterday by a private citizen washed up near the island jetty. It only takes a second friends. Be safe...
