Keeping Everyone Hydrated

I found the old drinking fountain in the cellar, and put it back on the windowsill. The Munni-cat knows it and likes to drink from it, but it was new to the other two. Chaiyya didn’t go near the thing when it was running (its quite noisy, that’s why it had ended up in the cellar), but Rani cautiously went closer until her nose touched the water.

This photo was taken at 8:30 this morning, before the outside shutters came down. 

By sitting in darkened rooms, we managed to keep the inside temperature down at  a bearable 25 degrees C. This way, we both could keep working all day, while the city heated up to 38 degrees in the shade. 

To be repeated tomorrow, hoping for some cooling rain in the evening.
