'Look At My Cabbage Now........!

Blipping early this morning as we have a beautiful sunny morning......
but sadly according to the forecast....it's not to last...
This weird specimen is my Ornamental Cabbage that I planted in November last..
Blipped on Nov. 21st '12(don't know how to add the link!)...
It's over 2 feet tall now with gorgeous yellow blossoms....
It's not particularly attractive....but I've just left it to see what it does as I've never grown one before....
Does anyone know if it would be worth planing it out in the garden as it has to go soon.....as I would like to fill the boxes with Summer colour.....!

As I type Kitty has just gone outside with his dish of food...
I told him I didn't think it was a good idea.....
He insisted....
He seems to have gone 'walkabout'...
And right now I see a Magpie hopping up on to the doorstep and helping himself to Kitty's breakfast......
This, despite the fact that I 'm only a couple of feet away from him...
The cheek...
Kitty won't be pleased......!!
But, he wouldn't be told............!!
