Too dam hot!

I was out walking by 8am up B Braes and round the wood. It was already 19 but fine for a March.

Home for breakfast in the garden in the shade and mostly stayed that way for most of the day. The temp rose to 33 in the shade and as I’m not partial to being baked it was sitting reading or sitting indoors looking through old photos.

S made these meringues from the left over egg whites from the key lime pie. They were a bit crumbly I must say, the ones Ben made were better last week!

We had a walk round the block around 8:30 when it was a bit cooler but didn’t manage our usual pace. The living room is north facing so we had operation Sahara in force and the windows and curtains and door had been closed all day so it was pretty cool.

We just aren’t equipped to deal with these temps here in the UK. Also, health hazard for many with certain conditions.
