After an uncomfortably hot night, the heat is even more oppressive
here in London today at nearly 40c We managed a brief morning walk  along the New River Walk in Islington with Eliza but have spent most of the day trying to keep cool indoors. It is a lovely shady area to walk along, but there is so much duck weed at the moment that you can’t see the water!
