Rest In Peace Mum

Mum was moved to her preferred hospice early in the day. Early evening my sister got the call to come in with Dad. They were with her for four hours until she passed and I joined some of the time. Wife to P, mother to two daughters, grandmother to two grandsons and a granddaughter. Dad did well to make the hospice comfortable with music, flowers and photos.
Aged 79, cancer got the better of her, she endured a double mastectomy to avoid this.. but given she had a major heart attack at 40, she has survived so much. This is after immigrating to Australia as a refugee after WW2.
