Stella the Ratter

One of the pitfalls of chickens is the rats. Princess saw Stella with a 'mouse' yesterday and I found 2 drowned babies in the chickens drinking water. Today I got home to find Stella waiting proudly with her latest catch. I am over the moon.

Bert was an excellent ratter in his day but is a bit too slow these days, which is why we wanted a new cat. Thank goodness she knows what she is doing!

In other news, no one vomited, everyone went to school/nursery and I had a Cheeky Killigrew with ClareClare. I also got all Bella's kit together for Coast to Coast this weekend. MrRoly got home and has promised me a lie in in the morning. We shall see...
