In the pink .....

Lovely evening at RB13's for Bookgroup - she had prepared a veritable feast which was enjoyed by all, the wine & chat flowed as ever.  

There was limited chat about the book (In the Name of the Rose), namely because it is loooong and only Laura Muir had finished it. I'm enjoying it but it requires concentration so can only read in small doses.

Earlier in the day  I braved the heat and made my way down to Edinburgh. The journey wasn't too bad although I decided to take an earlier one when I saw the next one was delayed leaving Inverness due to overcrowding. 

I am staying at HazelH 's until Thursday morning * as we have another social event on Wednesday at which Bookgroup members will be attending.

Looking forward to being s tourist in Edinburgh and am especially grateful to HazelH for having after her and Mr HazelH experiences on Sunday.

* It took a while but I eventually figured out a “capsule wardrobe” - obviously got something right as I was complemented on my “lovely green dress” by a passerby as we walked to RB13’s.
