Lise Live

This is not about the picture; it's about the event. Lise Live is the eight-year-old brainchild of Merril Hope-Brown, head of Robert College's Fine Arts program and fosterer of undiscovered talent. Twice a year, music students line up to audition for a chance to show their stuff to their peers. Every time, their are too many acts to fit into the time allowed, and the hall is filled to capacity.

In generally, our students have had little to no experience of artistic expression before they come here. It is simply astounding what they learn in five years.

This picture shows an a cappella rap group. I was not sure of the significance of the bath robe, but when that young man stopped rapping and started singing, man did he have a voice!
