Walberswick

Decided that we would walk today and see how we got on. 12 miles around the coast and reed beds and salt marshes between Dunwich and Walberswick. Plenty of very welcome breeze and a paddle towards the end. This is the church at Walberswick. Once much bigger but the congregation couldn’t maintain it and asked for permission in the 17th century to build a smaller one, within the existing church. The ruins of the original are next to it.
