Beach day

We had to go to Portobello to look at carpet, and decide to walk by the beach afterwards. Out by a 26 bus, which was full - standing room only, and the driver had several times to get people standing upstairs to come down. Walking through to the Prom, it was mobbed.  

We turned around and walked towards Edinburgh - in less than a mile from this scene, we found an almost deserted beach and only a few people on the wide open promenade. (in extra). 
Maybe the locals know why .. 

Continued on to Leith Links, 35 bus back up Easter Road.
