Enchanted Garden

I step outside the patio door,
into the dark of night,
but instead of shadows and gloom,
I find a wonderous sight.

The trees and shrubs are all lit up,
with lighting twixt and tween,
and so where I expected black,
is filled with reds and greens.

I'm clearly in a silly mood tonight. I had a conference call at 10pm last night that went on for two and a half hours... So I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked. Mind you, one of my colleagues had another call at 6am - at least I wasn't needed for that!

Another busy day today, filled with conference calls, project plans and documents. At least I get some downtime tonight, and tomorrow we have a plan to find a pub... Ahh, thank crunchie it's Friday. Well, in the UK it is - here I'm an hour and half premature. Perhaps I should say "thank crunchie it's nearly Friday".
