I Got It!.....I Got It!.....I Got The Ball!!!

We should all have as much fun as this fellow was having. He had a little buddy to chase balls with and his humans, of course. It was a beautiful evening at the park and clearly they were a very happy family. It was fun to watch them.

I still haven't learned to approach people and I always regret that because when I get home I think how really simple it would have been just to say hi to his owners and ask if they would mind if I took their dog's picture. I might even have gotten his name. Maybe next time.

The worst part of the day? I dropped my camera -- not on the grass, not on the carpet -- it fell out of my lap as I got out of the car so, yes, on the street. I didn't really like the way it was working before I dropped it, but it's a terrible thing to hear that crunchy sound of impact. I'm really sorry that I said bad things about it earlier and now I feel awful. I couldn't find anything broken, and I didn't hear any rattling sounds but I guess time will tell.

I consoled myself with another visit to Sirena Gelato -- this time for Sea Salt Caramel and Butterfinger. It helped. A lot. I'm not sure what to do for the camera.
