Heatwave

The weather people predicted 28C for us today. Instead it reached 31C
 
And tomorrow is said to be even higher. Its been a day of trying to keep cool starting with getting up early (well, early for me) opening all the doors and windows to bring in some cool air then as the temperature started to rise closing them and drawing all the curtains.  This helped but not enough so I got out our winter fan heaters and turned them on.
 No wonder some folk are checking into hotels for the sake of some air conditioning.
My heart goes out to those living in cities “down south”. It must be diabolical trying to cope with the heat.
 
Tomorrow it is expected more heat records will be broken.
