Mad dogs

This morning I had a routine hospital appointment and the temperature in the car was 37 degrees at midday. I thought they might have cancelled the appointment because of the heat but it was lovely and cool in the building.
Monday night is tenpin bowling night. Over the weekend we messaged our bowlers to see if they wanted to bowl in the extreme heat and unanimously they decided to go ahead. The bowling alley was super cool and we all had a good evening. The temperature in our garden was 29.4 degrees when we got home, I put my alarm clock out there before we left for bowling.
