What are you staring at?

We came upon this peacock resting by the side of the road and snapped a quick photo. I have never seen a peacock up in the Tantalus area before. He did not appear to be injured or need help, just turned to get a look at us while we were snapping his photo. Another very special first! Found just one stalk of yellow ginger along the whole road. Another beautiful day, playing tour guide to friends from Chicago, in paradise.
