It Ain’t Half Hot

Thank you so much for the response to yesterday’s Blip birthday. Delighted to be on page one of popular. 


Out early this morning before the temperatures began to soar. We are so lucky to have this woodland on our doorstep. Even managed to walk Jet on the shady side of the street to keep his paws cool. Just like the dappled light on the path.

Curtains have remained closed to try and keep the temperatures from rising too much. Even so by this evening it had warmed up. Jet is now asleep under a cold wet towel. We have tried to keep his walks to a minimum (as well as our exposure to the heat). Roll on cooler weather later on in the week.
