Juvenile Heron

This young heron, unlike the adult birds, refused to settle in any one place for long. The adult herons will stand like statues for a considerable time …… this youngster had hardly put its feet down before it was off again. I did track it until it flew to the dense foliage at the far end of loch ….. at that point I gave up.
