Morecambe Bay

The hottest day of the year so far.  A walk into Grange with a friend B.  We managed to stay in the shade for much of the walk.  We had a cup of tea on the prom and sat at a window in the cafe with an amazing breeze coming off the Bay.  From here to Hazelmere for a take out sandwich and we eat that in the shade by the duck pond.

Retraced our steps and we managed a really good catch up as it was a while since we have been able to get together.  

Spoke to No 2 son to see how he is doing in the sizzling south.  He seemed OK and keeping cool indoors.
