Southerness Beach

Our last day of the holiday and we opted for a more relaxing day. We stayed at the cottage and packed in the morning, as the weather forecast looked better for the afternoon.

We visited the RSPB reserve at Mersehead in the afternoon. It was a peaceful spot with plenty of insect action. Not much in the way of birds but it's a winter spot for barnacle geese from Svalbard so we'd have to return in October to see them!
