Greenfinch ( Chloris chloris )

This juvenile Greenfinch hasn't quite got the hang of things yet.   I was watching the activity on the feeders when this juvenile arrived in the bush.  After watching for a while it decided it ought to have a try.  So it flew onto the top of the feeders.  That stage when well.  Then it showed its inexperience, by taking a couple of pecks at the metal ball on the top. 

It soon realised its mistake, and with much fluttering managed to find a vacant perch.  It was even confident enough to threaten a House Sparrow which tried to oust it from the perch.
