After Midnight

.... Perfect weather for a shorts and t-shirt dog walk down to see the sea.   Cool, a gentle breeze, moon rising in the east.   A gentle way to end a busy day and a hot one.   The pic is around 930pm, not long after sunset, looking south across the allotments as I set out to water my poor plants.   The cabbages here are not mine alas.

A busier day at Aber cafe, glad I'm not working tomorrow as temperatures push higher.    Tea with Jamie, dry laundry harvested but most of the activity was after sunset.   That trip to the allotment where I bumped into a family of other allotmenteers, one, an ex allotment holder, now lives not far from my mum in Pinner.   Small world!   Finally my own garden also watered before the dog walk.  A siesta tomorrow afternoon methinks!
