Reigns and Snowy

The heat is building and our allotment is bountiful. Back there after Mass this morning. Picked lots more courgettes and strawberries. So hot that I cancelled my scheduled afternoon bike ride with a group. We have so many strawberries now that I made jam for the first time in years last night. It turned out well. Really pleased that mazgilchimp gave it a ten out of ten when she and the gilchimps (plus cuddly toys) came round for cream tea in the afternoon. Off to Cardrona tonight to visit friends that we are going to house and dog sit for this coming week. We went through all the instructions and got to take Isla (the dog) out for a walk.
