To the lighthouse
Today we took the lighthouse path from Tobermory to….well, the lighthouse.
It was muddy underfoot and branchy and planty-green all around, with a steep slope up to our left and an almost-vertical slope down to rocks and the sea on our right. Every now and then we had glimpses of blue water through the branches, but it was mostly cool and earthy-smelling. It was only a 2km walk but felt like a lot more than that to me!
The lighthouse stands sentinel at the north eastern end of Mull. I’m sure I should tell you all sorts of interesting details about it but I’m tired now and couldn’t be bothered.
Time for bed, I think!
