Regulars and surprise

Lazy Sunday. Put washing to dry. It dried within the hour! 

Pottered about mainly indoors. Downloaded the camera trap photos.  Absolutely delighted to see a hedgehog had visited.  Photo not that clear.

Many past summer evenings we would sit and jogwatch.  Hedgehogs were abundant in the front and back garden.  There was a well-trodden path across our garden from one next door neighbour across our garden to the next. But for the past 3 summers - nada.  We even invested in a hedgehog house at the end of the garden in sheltered privacy.

The foxes and birds have been drinking.  I have filled water dishes placed all round the garden and a water silo on the bird station too.  

I've looked at the forecast for southern Italy where my cousin lives, Greece and Cyprus where friends live and the UK is going  to be much hotter for at least the next two days.
