Eggleston Hall

We decided to have a run out to Barnard Castle today as the car is air conditioned so we could keep Reggie cooler.

We had a wander around (and tested our eyesight ) and indulged in an ice cream - I have since discovered it is National Ice Cream day!

We then realised we weren’t far from Eggleston Hall so we headed off and it was just as beautiful as when we were last there. Thanks to the power of blip I now know that was 9 July 2013.

Too many choices today but I’ve put one in extras too.

It really is a beautiful spot and if it hadn’t been so hot I would have bought some plants too.
