Spent part of Sunday afternoon sitting watching the comings and goings in the small shag colony on Scat Ness. The chicks range from these three (at least) just out of the egg, through to the ones in the extra, which must have a least a couple of weeks head start.

Perhaps these guys don't have quite the charm of the auks - but I do still have a soft spot for them..love the green eyes.
