Life in a Northern Town

Saltburn

What an amazing place - if it were on the south coasts the properties would be in the millions.

The east coast was lovely and cool but the temperature rose by about a degree every ten miles as we drove home. John is on the plane to Vegas (for “work”), where we had been exclaiming at the predicted temperatures - now not so different to here. He has messaged to say he is sitting next to the rhythm guitarist from The Killers on the plane, mortified that he doesn’t know any of their songs. He’d need it to be Lemmy to be familiar with the back catalogue, and obviously that’s not happening!

Best of luck sleeping in the heat.
