Moorhen

Folk at the market v surprised to have a rare sighting of DaveH on a Saturday - the Inchcolm crew were obliged to take a couple of days leave since there'll be no visitors landing on the island today or tomorrow. The regular boats are busy tendering for various cruise ships that are anchored in the Forth - the Emerald Princess, for example.

It rained on and off during the day, so didn't feel the need to go to the allotment. Caught up to some extent with numerous emails and messages.

Saw the moorhen from Bernard St bridge as we were coming back from the market - I was hoping to get a better shot of her enormous feet, but she didn't oblige.
