Typical!

Earlier in the year I planted a variety of poppy seeds in the garden in the hope of a lovely display in the summer. Needless to say they have neither grown nor flowered, just a few stunted green bits :( 
Somewhat galling then when Abernethy seems to be awash with poppies growing in all sorts of weird and wonderful places, such as these tiny poppies (about 2 inches) growing in a crack in someones driveway.
I've no doubt many of you will be posting sunny pictures and complaining of the heat today. Cool and raining here.
