Conningbrook Lakes Country Park

Still trying to seek out cool places to walk.  I thought somewhere near water always has a cooling effect but my friend dismissed this site as "just some old gravel pits"  now called a "Lakes Country Park".  I convinced her that given a few years and some management of the site may have turned them around since her last visit.  Found this to be true.  Still not many mature trees to provide shade  but aside from that on such a lovely day it looked beautiful.  Backblipped.
