Munched

The deer were back. Munched on 3 of my Johnson's Blue geraniums. Note the bare stalks with the flat ends. At least they had the decency to munch before the buds came in. They also feasted on a columbine. I only noticed it on my way to Girly's bus stop and office because the plants are rather shorter than they were yesterday morning. They've never eaten the Johnson's Blues before. Hopefully the snow up in the hills melts off soon and they will move to higher ground for the summer. Hopefully they have not developed a taste for my yard...However, if they could come back in mid-July and give a trimming so the plants rebloom...that would be very nice.
