My lovely Sarah

My elder daughter Sarah and her sons Jake and Zach came to stay over the weekend and here she is down in the stitching cave where I have just done a wee darning job on Zach's favourite possum-merino jersey that we'd given him last year. Lots of lovely natter and laughter before they headed back home to Whangaparaoa at mid day today. Sarah begins a new job as theatre sister tomorrow. She has many years experience mainly in orthopaedic surgery.
Then at noon all 3 of Dr D's offspring and their spouses arrived to generously take us out to lunch to celebrate my birthday. We had a super catch up with lots of chat and laughter there too, before returning home here for more tea and shortbread before they all headed home at 6pm.We'll all sleep well tonight!
