Coming in to land

This morning we went for a walk near Frankton while the family went for a bike ride. I thought this shot shows quite well how close the planes are to the mountains when they land and take off. It appears that the wings are almost touching the mountains either side!
We then came back for lunch and it has poured with rain ever since. The forecast isn't good either :-(
