Sold this today ….and..

While outside emptying the assorted junk and litter from my old car this morning, I looked into the garage and saw this (wrapped up and stored for several years). I thought ‘in this hot weather, some one might buy that’. So I put it on our local ‘Buy and Sell’ facebook and within minutes had sold it for £10. The young man came to collect it a couple of hours later, and, as he was leaving I jokingly said ‘you don’t want to buy a car as well, I suppose?’
He said ‘no , but my mate is looking for a seven seater!’ He had a look at the car in all it’s mud and dog-hair glory, said he thought his mate would be interested, went home and contacted said mate who offered some cash and they are coming to look at it on Tuesday (by which time it will be minus the mud and most of the dog hair)! Life is funny at times, isn’t it?
