Castle Farm lavender fields this afternoon. Such a deep purple and such a wonderful view.

A brief visit today. We’ll go back soon, after booking a tour or a walk through the fields, probably not a picnic. Everything needs prior booking now and especially at the weekend.

On our walk up the hill to take this photo, we heard a loud shriek coming from over the hedge and then other very happy sounds. We were privileged to be “present “ at a marriage proposal and acceptance! We clapped loudly, the couple were delighted and we were shown the ring! Wonderful! A very beautiful venue and a very memorable day for one happy couple.
