Dragonfly

We had a garden visitor today, Pam and David from the country market. Pam is a plant grower and brings them to the market.
So I was a bit nervous of having her to see my plants!
However it was a beautiful morning and things were looking quite good, and they did love the wild woods and meadow.
Then off to Whitbarrow and the butterflies. To my annoyance the road was closed and I had to make a long detour to get there.
There were a few fritillaries, a comma, and the first gatekeeper.
Back home to water the veg again, I could almost wish for a little shower of rain….
