Small and Sweet

Rising this morning not early enough for the insects to be asleep I ended up in the field chasing them round which wasn't ideal. I had been awake since 4:00  and just should have got out of bed!! But I didn't!

Our rewilding of the field, read into that not cutting part of it seems to have paid off and there were more butterflies around of different species than last year. That has to be good. 

This is a small skipper and we seem to have loads which is fab. Poppy sat in the cut area looking at me diving around  - it doesn't do the knees any good ......
