Mote Park lake

We had just enough time to squeeze in a walk this afternoon before our Scottish family arrived for a week’s holiday with us. They’ve come with their three year old son Oran who will certainly keep us on our toes over the coming week. We spent some time with them in Forres earlier this year and last August.

The morning has been spent doing all the final prep for their visit. I watered the allotment , dug spuds , watered and fed plants at home and did a bit of shopping while Susan finished her cleaning and went to see her mum.

Lovely day today, warm sunshine, high temperatures with a cooling breeze and a clear atmosphere. This evening is pleasantly cool. Set to be rather different early next week.
