Scrapyard Feedback

Went to the Scrap Yard dress rehearsal tonight at the Arts Complex. Scrap Yard is an innovative new project which invites theatre makers of all disciplines to experiment with new ideas and collaborations. Participating artists, including performers, writers, directors, dancers, clowns, designers, musicians and puppeteers, were placed in teams and given a stimulus and challenged to create a short (ten-minute) play in two weeks. After two weeks of workshops they brought their pieces to the Arts Complex for a dress rehearsal, ahead of the performance on Saturday at the Traverse Theatre. Tonight, following the pieces, there was an opportunity for feedback and discussion, and this is my friend M listening to some of the feedback on the piece she had performed in, along with another woman and another friend, J.
